Every community in the North needs inspired paramedics to keep our communities healthy and safe.

From Barrie to Sault Ste. Marie, we train paramedics with the aim to make our corner of the world a better place.

Sault Ste. Marie, our most northern community, we have a need for passionate paramedic professionals looking to contribute to this philosophy, by sharing their knowledge and experience as paramedics with our students.

Our campus at 100 Churchill Avenue, Sault Ste. Marie, is our most recent campus – established within the last decade. Instructors and students alike enjoy our 19,000+sq.ft. facility with our state-of-the-art training equipment; from a replica ambulance to iSimulate machines – allowing for thorough and customizable scenario experiences for our students.

CTS Canadian Career College (CCC) has been a pioneer in the paramedic training industry and was the first in Ontario to offer a Primary Care Paramedic training program. With over 40 years of education experience, we are an institution that cares deeply about each and every student in all of our communities. Our faculty are our strongest source of inspiration and pride for our students.

Our Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Program faculty are often simultaneously employed as working paramedics which creates a significant advantage for our students; concepts and theory are fluidly integrated with the shared experience and knowledge of our faculty. Our instructors spark passion and inspiration for our students through professional connection and mentorship. Additionally, our faculty often mentions the networking benefits of being employed with us as well; their connections with students and colleagues can turn into lifelong friendships and professional references.

PCP Program graduate Brittany Follett in North Bay, shared her thoughts regarding our instructors and how their contributions to our PCP Program were the best part of her education experience with CTS CCC:

“For Follett, the opportunity to learn from seasoned paramedics was one of the most valuable aspects of the program, not to mention a refreshing real-world perspective on the job itself.

‘That was my favourite part,” she says. “We had paramedics with years of experience come in and talk to us, giving us a real taste of what the job is like.’

‘They didn’t just stick to the rules and procedures…they shared the good stuff and the bad stuff. It was essential for us to hear that.’” – BayToday.ca, Follett, B., 2024. https://tinyurl.com/yc6yj2j2

We are looking for like-minded individuals, eager to pass on their skills and experience with new paramedics. Always considered yourself a leader or enjoyed assisting in training of peers and new recruits? CTS is right for you!

We are hiring a PCP Skills Lead and Clinical Coordinator, as well as PCP Skills Instructors. We offer a flexible schedule, on-site parking, access to company events, and we offer a competitive bonus compensation package that has significant potential – correlated with student retention and success rate.
