CTS Canadian Career College is excited to offer new massage services to the public in collaboration with our Massage Therapy curriculum. Current CTS students in the Massage Therapy program will be offering massages with the support of a Registered Massage Therapist present.
Our student massages run in conjunction with our Massage Therapy program, which consists of both instructional and clinical training, preparing students to become professional and competent massage therapists. Students cover the foundations of massage therapy and clinical assessment, as well as a focus on more advanced treatment options.

How Our Massage Therapy Student Clinic Works
The Massage Therapy program at CTS aims to offer an education that exceeds set standards with highly trained instructors. At the same time, we create opportunities to give back to the community with time and service. Massage therapy services encourage relaxation while helping to maintain and improve physical function by acting on the muscular, nervous, and circulatory systems. With an overwhelming need for these services in the community, CTS aims to fill that demand with our massage therapy clinics.
To ensure that we’re offering the highest quality of service to clients, students must advance through different stages of our program in order to be eligible to provide massages in our massage therapy student clinic. For each service, aRegistered Massage Therapist will be present to supervise the student.

What Kind of Services Can You Book?
All massages on offer at our student clinic are 1-hour, full-body massages. You’ll have the option to book any massages through our clinic and will be assigned a student with the appropriate level of experience. For example, Year 1 students are well-trained to give relaxation full-body massages to clients, while those students in higher years are able to offer more specific massages tailored to the client’s needs. These may include maternity massages, senior massages, deep tissue massages, sports massages, and more. All massages in our supervised massage therapy clinic are available to the public at the introductory discounted price of $30.

We believe that anyone and everyone can benefit from access to massage therapy, and patients from all walks of life are encouraged to make use of our clinic. Massage services are currently available at all CTS Campuses–Barrie, Sault Ste. Marie, and North Bay–for clients over the age of 12. All clients must provide a full health history, along with informed parental consent for those clients who are underage.
